The staff at Believe in Me makes utilizing a team approach an absolute pleasure.
Our staff members are expertly trained in early childhood development, behavior strategies, and sensory accommodations (with on-going training occurring weekly). Our team is highly skilled and deeply passionate about the work we do.
Jessica is a graduate student working toward dual certification in both k-6 general education and special education. She is also seeking middle school math and science certifications. She has worked as a preschool teacher for the past five years and has recently began substitute teaching in her local school district. Jessica loves to facilitate circle time activities and plan group games, which always foster collaboration and guarantee loads of fun!
Zoe has a Master of Arts in Teaching. She is certified to teach social studies in New Jersey and New York. For the past five years, Zoe has been teaching at an independent school known for accommodating learning differences. She loves to meet children’s needs with engaging activities and her favorite environment is a room filled with laughter and smiles!
Stephanie is a graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Over the past four years in the field, Stephanie's love for working with children with varying special needs has grown into her passion. Her favorite activity is developing creative art projects where every child gains the opportunity to feel proud of their independent work!
Caroline is a recent graduate of Catholic University of America, graduating with a Bachelors in Psychological and Brain Sciences. She has worked with children on the Autism spectrum in a variety of settings and this year is taking the time to gain additional experience in the field before pursuing her graduate degree. Caroline is a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and loves to incorporate lots of play into her activities to keep sessions exciting and engaging!
Victoria is currently a student at Seton Hall University where she is enrolled in a dual degree program in elementary and special education and social and behavioral sciences. She will be earning her Masters degree in speech and language pathology and just completed two internships in inclusive elementary classrooms. Victoria loves to help children reach their highest potential!
Emilee is a senior at Morris Knolls High School and currently teaches a fourth grade class at an elementary school in her town. In her independent study, Emilee helps run a preschool program and teaches other high schoolers how to create lesson plans and work with the children. Emilee will be attending Montclair State University in the fall to study special education. Emilee is excellent at developing instant rapport with children and loves facilitating lively games and activities to help children interact and build play skills!
Amanda is a student at Seton Hall University studying Special Education and Speech Language Pathology. She is currently a substitute teacher and has previously worked as a paraprofessional educator and a gymnastics instructor. Amanda is a member of the New Jersey Student Education Association (NJSEA) and Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society. Amanda loves to learn about education and how to support the needs of all children!
Tori is a graduate student at Caldwell University where she is studying school counseling. Tori graduated from Caldwell with a Bachelors degree in psychology and is currently a nanny, tutor, and substitute teacher. She worked as a paraprofessional at a private elementary school and during her summers she also works at a special needs camp which focuses on social skill building. Tori is a proud member of the American School Counselor Society (ASCA) and Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society. Tori enjoys watching children succeed and doing whatever she can to help them get there!
Sarah recently graduated from Rowan University with her Bachelors degree in Psychology and has an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from The County College of Morris. Sarah also plans to go back to school to pursue her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. This is Sarah's 2nd year working with special needs children and she loves incorporating what she has learned and continues to learn into the activities she does with her kids!
