Occupational Therapy (OT)

Our OT (Occupational Therapy) sessions are run by our wonderful occupational therapists, Jacqueline, Amanda, and Meredith.

In OT sessions Miss Jackie focuses on addressing skill deficits while building on your child’s strengths. Activities and games are tailored to meet the needs of each child depending on their individual treatment goals. OT can help children to develop and improve self-regulation skills, self-care, fine motor control, attending, balance, coordination, organization, motor planning, visual-spatial awareness, and other abilities needed in order to navigate everyday routines.

Whether working on fine motor skills by cutting out shapes, climbing a rock wall to practice motor planning, or jumping on a trampoline to focus on developing balance, our OT sessions never feel like work!

We include our families as highly valued members of their children’s therapy and provide carryover strategies they can utilize at home such as heavy work, visual schedules, and ways to modify daily routines to increase success.

Our occupational therapists provide additional training and collaborates closely with your child’s ABA and speech practitioners to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive treatment plan across all disciplines. Your child does not need to attend ABA therapy in order to receive OT!
