Rather than operating dozens of locations, we’ve focused on one single center of excellence to pour all our expertise and heart into. This means every aspect of our program meets the highest standards, and every child receives our full attention.
Our Founders' Story
Believe in Me was founded in 2015 by Cassandra Generelli, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and Bethany Jameson, a Special Educator - best friends who met while working in the field of early childhood intervention. From the beginning, they discovered they shared not only a strong professional bond, but also a remarkably similar therapy style, grounded in compassion, consistency, high clinical standards, and a shared commitment to advocating for their clients and the children they serve.
Their close partnership and shared vision became the foundation of Believe in Me. Together, Cassandra and Bethany set out to build a center rooted in trust, collaboration, and meaningful relationships - between therapists, children, and families alike. As they often say, Believe in Me was created to be a place where families feel supported, understood, and confident in the care their child receives, every step of the way.
On the professional side, our founders each bring over a decade of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and child development. They remain closely involved in the day-to-day life of the center - hands-on with both the team and the children.
When you call Believe in Me, you’ll always speak directly with Cassandra or Bethany, and you’ll often find them working closely with staff and staying actively engaged with families throughout the process. They are present at the center every day - Cassandra and Bethany personally greet new families and stay actively involved throughout each child’s journey, ensuring that from the very first conversation, you feel confident, supported, and truly cared for.
What Makes Us Different
From day one, Believe in Me set out to challenge the status quo of autism therapy in New Jersey. We chose quality over convenience – focusing on outcomes and relationships rather than high volume.
We do everything with each child’s best interest at heart. Programs are tailored to fit the child, informed by ongoing assessment and clinical expertise - not the other way around. We measure success in smiles, skills gained, and milestones reached - many of our graduates have gained the skills to transition into mainstream pre-school or kindergarten, a testament to our program’s effectiveness. We’re proud that so many of our children go on to thrive in school and beyond.
